Terms and Conditions

These terms are a contract between you and EHRESTE VENTURES SRL, a company registered in Romania (“we”, “us”, “walldecor.io”). They govern your use of walldecor.io and everything on it.

By using the site, including the free Wall Art Visualizer, which needs no account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

1. What the service does

walldecor.io has three parts, and they work differently:

• The Wall Art Visualizer: a free tool that composites your artwork onto a photo of your wall in your browser. It does not use AI image generation, and the images you load into it are processed on your own device.
• The AI workspace: a paid tool that sends your room photo to a third-party AI model, which returns a modified image (repainted walls, wallpaper, framed art). This consumes credits.
• Guides and idea pages: editorial content published for information only.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use walldecor.io, and at least 18 to buy credits. You are responsible for anything done through your account and for keeping access to your email address secure, since we sign you in by magic link and email code rather than a password.

If you buy as a guest, we create an account for the email address you pay with so your credits have somewhere to live.

3. Credits, payment, and what “lifetime” means

The AI workspace runs on credits. A one-time payment of $29 grants 40 credits and permanent access to the account. There is no subscription and nothing renews. You can buy further credits at the prices shown at the time.

Credits are deducted when you submit a generation, not when you like the result. We pay our AI provider for the compute the moment the request is sent, so a generation that produces an image you do not want has still been performed and still costs a credit. This is how the product works, and it is not a fault. If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side, contact support@walldecor.io and we will restore the credit.

“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the service, not yours. It means your access and your purchased credits do not expire and are never billed again. It is not a promise that walldecor.io will exist forever. See section 10.

Payments are processed by a specialist third-party payment provider. We never see or hold your card details. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout; applicable VAT is handled at checkout.

Credits are not money. They are a prepaid licence to use the AI workspace. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or moved between accounts, and they are not electronic money, a deposit, or a stored-value instrument. They can only be spent on generations in your own account.

We may change the price of credits at any time. A change never affects credits you have already bought, and the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.

Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us, we may suspend the account and the credits on it while the dispute is open, and close the account if the dispute is resolved against us. Please email support@walldecor.io first. A refund is faster than a chargeback, and we would rather sort it out directly.

4. Refunds

If the product is not what you expected, email support@walldecor.io and tell us. We refund at our discretion, and in practice we say yes where the credits are substantially unused. Our Refund Policy explains how we decide and how long it takes.

Credits you have already spent on generations are not refundable, because the compute they paid for has already been bought and consumed.

If you are a consumer in the EU: you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because credits are digital content supplied immediately, the checkout page asks you to agree to these terms and to acknowledge that supply begins at once, which, under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, ends the statutory right of withdrawal for the credits you then spend. As a matter of our own policy, going beyond what the law requires, we still refund unused credits within those 14 days. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory consumer right you have under the law of your own country.

5. Your images stay yours

You keep every right you had in the photos and artwork you upload, and in the images the service produces from them. We claim no ownership of either.

You grant us only the narrow licence we need to run the product: to store, copy, resize and transmit your images so that we can display them back to you and, in the AI workspace, send them to our AI provider for processing. That licence exists for the purpose of operating the service for you, and ends when you delete the image or your account.

Two people can describe the same idea. The model may produce output for another user that is similar, or close to identical, to yours, and nothing here gives you exclusivity over a look, a style, or an arrangement. What is yours is the specific image the service produced for you.

Training and marketing

We do not train AI models on your images, and we do not use your images or generations in our marketing without your written permission.

Our providers are a separate question, and we would rather be exact than reassuring. The AI workspace sends your photo and prompt to specialist providers purely to produce your result. One generates the image, another looks at the photo to help build the prompt. We never submit your images to any provider for training, and we choose providers whose terms leave your content yours. What we will not do is promise you something about a third party’s internal practices that is not ours to promise. Providers change; the current list and their terms are yours whenever you want them, at contact@walldecor.io.

The free Wall Art Visualizer sends nothing anywhere. Your artwork and wall photo are composited in your browser and stay on your device unless you are signed in and explicitly save a design to your account.

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you upload, and that you have the consent of anyone identifiable in a photo you upload.

6. What AI output is and is not

AI-generated images are suggestions. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, buildable, or fit for a decision you are about to spend money on. In particular:

• Colours are not paint matches. A colour on your screen is not the colour in your room. Order a physical sample before buying paint or wallpaper.
• Sizes and placements are estimates. The visualizer maps frames onto a wall plane from a single photo. It is a preview, not a measurement tool. Measure your wall before ordering a frame, a print, or anything cut to size.
• Generated images may resemble existing works. AI models are trained on large datasets and can produce output that is unintentionally similar to material protected by copyright or trade mark. You are responsible for checking anything you intend to publish, sell, or reproduce.
• Output is AI-generated and should be labelled as such. Images from the AI workspace are synthetic. Where you publish or share one, and particularly where it could be mistaken for a photograph of a real room, you are responsible for disclosing that it was generated by AI, as EU transparency rules on synthetic content require.
• Output is not professional advice. Nothing on the site is interior design, structural, electrical, or safety advice.

We are not responsible for purchases you make, work you commission, or materials you order on the strength of a generated image.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use walldecor.io to:

• upload images of people without their consent, or any image of a minor in a sexual, degrading, or sexualised context;
• create sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or violent content;
• impersonate a real person or produce a misleading depiction of a real person or property;
• upload work you do not have the rights to, or attempt to launder someone else’s copyrighted work through the tool;
• break, probe, or overload the service, whether by scraping, automated access beyond normal use, circumventing rate limits or the credit system, or reverse-engineering the site;
• resell or redistribute access to the service; or
• break the law of your country or ours.

We apply rate limits and other anti-abuse measures, and we may adjust them at any time. The free Wall Art Visualizer is offered for personal evaluation: using it at scale, automating it, or working around the email step on the download is a breach of this section.

Section 11 sets out what you must not upload for your own protection, rather than ours. It matters just as much as this list.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that breach this section, without refund where the breach is deliberate.

8. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on walldecor.io infringes your copyright, email contact@walldecor.io with a description of the work, the URL of the content, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing material promptly on a valid notice and may terminate repeat infringers.

We pass a valid notice to whoever uploaded the content, who may reply with a counter-notice explaining why the material is theirs to use. If they do, we may restore it unless you tell us you have begun legal proceedings. Accounts that infringe repeatedly are closed.

Deliberately false notices waste everyone’s time and can make you liable for the other side’s costs.

9. Our intellectual property

The site, its software, design, guides, and the walldecor.io name and branding belong to us. Your purchase buys the use of the service, not any right in it.

If you send us feedback, a bug report, or a feature request, we may use it to improve walldecor.io without owing you payment, credit, or confidentiality. Please do not send us anything you consider secret.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We provide the service on an “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, and we depend on third-party providers for hosting, AI processing, payments, and email, whose outages become our outages.

If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice by email to the address on your account, and a reasonable period to download the images you have generated. Credits you have not spent at that point are refunded.

The site links to and depends on services we do not control. We are not responsible for what a third-party site does with anything you give it, and its terms and privacy policy apply there, not ours.

Features marked beta, experimental, or preview are exactly that. They may change or disappear, they may produce worse results, and the warranties in these terms do not apply to them.

11. Your content, security, and keeping your own copies

How your images are stored

Images you upload to the AI workspace are stored privately. They are not publicly readable: a request for one has to carry your signed-in session, and we check the image belongs to you before we return it. There is no link anyone can paste into a browser to see your room.

The AI provider is the one exception, because it has to fetch your photo in order to work on it. It receives a signed link that stops working shortly after the generation finishes, rather than a permanent one. The free Wall Art Visualizer sends nothing at all, because it composites in your browser.

Do not upload sensitive information

Storing something privately is not the same as it being a good idea to store it. walldecor.io is for photographs of walls and rooms. Do not upload:

• identity documents, financial records, or anything else you would treat as confidential;
• data revealing health, biometrics, race, political opinions, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation, whether yours or anyone else’s;
• confidential business information, or material you are under a duty to keep secret; or
• images of other people’s homes or possessions that they would not want made visible.

If you upload material of that kind anyway, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for the consequences. We have told you plainly what this service is for; the decision about what to put into it is yours.

Keep your own copies

walldecor.io is not a backup or archival service. We do not guarantee that your images will remain available, and we may delete content in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy. Download anything you want to keep.

Liability for content you upload

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for the loss, deletion, or corruption of content you upload, and we are not liable for harm arising from information you chose to upload contrary to this section.

This does not limit our obligations under data protection law where a breach is caused by our own failure to keep your data secure. We are not trying to sign away a duty we owe you; we are drawing the line between that duty and a consequence of you uploading something you were asked not to.

12. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, in which case this section applies to the extent permitted.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost or corrupted data, unauthorised access to content you uploaded, loss of goodwill, cost of substitute services, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss arising from your use of walldecor.io, including any decision you take or money you spend on the basis of a generated image.

Our total liability to you for all claims, however arising, is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or €100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from content you upload, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.

15. Termination

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing support@walldecor.io. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms.

What happens to credits you have not spent depends on why the account closed:

• You close the account yourself: we refund the unused credits at the price you paid for them.
• We close it for a breach of these terms: unused credits are forfeited.
• We discontinue the service: we refund the unused credits.

Credits already spent on generations are not refunded in any of these cases, because the compute they paid for has been bought and used.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will email account holders before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Romania, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and may also bring proceedings there.

Please email support@walldecor.io first. Nearly everything is settled that way. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

18. General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about walldecor.io, and replace anything said before.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force and that part applies as far as it can. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours if the business is sold or reorganised; your rights are unaffected if we do.

Neither of us is liable for a failure to perform caused by something genuinely outside our control, such as provider outages, network failures, or acts of government. Payment obligations are not excused.

We give notices by email to the address on your account, and by posting to this page. Section headings are for convenience only, and “including” always means “including but not limited to”.
